Rock Read & Write Rock Read & Write Are you sitting comfortably? Then I will begin!!! 97.4 Rock FM and Sure Start, Early Years & Childcare Service have been working in partnership to encourage a passion for reading and writing across the North West amongst children, families and adults alike. The Rock, Read & Write campaign has been inspired by the National Year of Reading 2008, which was launched on 31st March this year. As part of the Rock, Read & Write campaign, Rock FM have been encouraging budding writers of any age to submit their own unique short stories to us by entering the “Write for Me” competition. Rock FM also became involved with local children's centre’s, schools, holiday schemes, creches, day nurseries and out of school groups, running a series of Rock Reading Roadshows.
