KEITH LAID TO REST

A Lancahsire broadcasting legend will be laid to rest today.

Keith Macklin - who was 78 - died just over a week ago with his family at his bedside.

Keith had a career spanning 50 years in tv and radio - was known to many people - as the voice of sport in the northwest - he worked at Rock and Magic 999 - way back when it was red rose radio - from 1982.

His funeral takes place in Blackburn Tuesday 11th September.
