Established in 1947. Holmes Florist of Preston is a third generation family run business. We have a highly qualified team of florists who all have at least 15 years of experience, and so feel confident to suggest that we are Preston's Flower Experts! The business was established by Mr H.Holmes (Fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society), 60 years ago, and is still run by his Daughter and Grandson. The business developed from our own flower nurseries, and farm in nearby Hoghton, and for many years, up to the mid 1960's, we grew our own flowers. More recently our flowers come from local Lancashire Nurseries and from all around the world. Many of them overnight from the world famous Dutch flower auctions at Aalsmeer. Our flowers are always fresh for exceptional vase life. Since 1970 we have been a member of Interflora, and were selected in 2007 to be Preston's Signature™ Inteflora member, available to only one Florist in each city.
