The sea lion meet is for a half hour session to meet them at their pool side and the keeper will talk about their training and answer any questions.

The meet is for one child or adult, allowing one accompanying adult to take photographs as this is such a fabulous opportunity. Please note the date and time must be mutually agreed beforehand.

The fabulous new Sea Lion Pool & Arena at Blackpool Zoo has been making real waves with visitors.

The new pool - the largest sea lion pool in the UK - is unrecognisable to returning visitors where stylish mock rock has replaced a concrete background and cascading waterfalls complete the transformation. The wow factor is further achieved with glass walls which separate the amazing new 250 seat viewing gallery from the pool so that visitors of all ages can see the animals interact with the keepers at feeding times.

Our regular sea lion displays have been absolutely packed to the rafters, so we've added another to the line-up for the summer. Fun and frolics with our resident sea lions will now take place at 12.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.30pm and 4.45pm.

Whether you are catching up with your old favourites or meeting our beautiful new babies, we are sure you will have a really wild time when you visit Blackpool Zoo this summer!
