Katy Holmes

Katy Homles was a beautiful, wonderful little girl who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour on her brain stem in October 2011. Katy's family and friends did everything they possibly could to try and save her but sadly Katy passed away on the 19th January 2012 after losing her fight.

Her story has touched the hearts of thousands of people across the world and Katy's family now want to fund the research into cures for tumours like Katy had in hope to save the lies of many children in the future. Cash for Kids are helping them achieve this goal and will be supportng the amazing Holmes family to start a charity in Katy's name to fund this vital research.

A message from Katy's mum...

'This is Paula. I don't know what to say. Thank you everyone. Katy fell asleep at 1am with Dave and I snuggled either side of her holding each hand in a big double bed. It was very peaceful. I thank God for that. We always knew how special Katy was and felt honoured to have been chosen to raise her. I hope you will remain with us while we give her the special send off she so desperately deserves. I...f you are planning to fundraise please don't stop. Katy would be upset to think that you stopped. Our heartfelt thanks to you all and to my sister Kelly who never gave up on Katy's chances of a cure. I just want to say one last thing. In true Katy Holmes style, she fell asleep with a smile on her face. We love you angel, and like we told you every minute last night, we're incredibly proud of you
