Christmas Wishes
Christmas Wishes has been an amazing success with over £3500 being raised in aid of Cash for Kids which has enabed us to grant some very special wishes this Christmas for some amazing children in Lancashire!
Hywel and Jamie went on a Christmas Adventure to Norway to find Santa and bring him back to grant your special Christmas Wishes!

The wonderful people at Aquamania in Blackburn came to the rescue and sent them to Norway to find the man himself so he could come back to grant some very special wishes...

- Front Room Carpet for Erin
Erin Ford Age 4
Erin has Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and the family have had to have the entire house changed to help her including having a lift, ramp, wet room and doors widened. The carpet is the last thing they need and it will make the floor safe for Erin who crawls or uses a walker.
- JLS concert tickets, signed album and a meet and greet with the band for Kyle
Kyle Lord Age 5
Kyle has Spinal Atrophy Type 1, is in a wheelchair and his condition is life limiting. His one wish that he asked for whilst in hospital was to meet JLS who he calls ‘his boys’
- A new bedroom for Tyler (boy) including bed, wardrobe and duvet.
Tyler Tattersall Age 7 (nominated by Morgan, Tylers Sister)
Tyler has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is a muscle wasting condition meaning he will need a wheelchair eventually. The family have had a downstairs room created for Tyler but it currently has nothing in it. This room will give him his independence back as he will no longer need help to get upstairs.
- £500 to pay for extra physiotherapy sessions for Tyler Hartle
Tyler Hartle Age 3 (nominated by Auntie Becky)
Tyler was a healthy happy little 2 year old girl who suffered a fit at nursery. From this she went on to have a stroke and TB Meningitis due to this she suffered severe brain damage. She has become unable to walk and has little upper body strength. She was having physio once a week but this has been reduced to once a fortnight due to funding cuts. Auntie Becky asked us ‘to help a little princess walk again.'
- Christmas presents and food for Daniela
Daniela Age 2
Daniela has been nominated by the nursery she attends. Daniela’s mum and dad have split up in not very nice circumstances and Daniela and her mum are living in temporary accommodation and have nothing at all. The nursery staff just want to show this little girl that ‘nice things do happen’
- A special needs Tricycle to the value of £700 for Cieran and presents for his twin brother
Cieran Wareing Aged 7
Cieran had meningitis when he was a baby which has left him deaf, epilectic and with cerebral palsy. He can’t ride a normal two wheeler and would love to be able to ride his bike with his twin brother.
- Christmas Gifts for Leo and Aliyah
Leo Age 3 and Aliyah Age 7
Leo has stage 4 Neuroblastoma and has a 50/50% chance of survival. He is currently just starting a course of 70 chemotherapy sessions and he has been nominated by a few people who just want to make this an extra special Christmas for the family. Aliyah has said ‘she doesn’t want presents for Christmas she just wants Leo to get well.’
- A garden fence to make the garden safe for Emma and her brothers and sisters plus lots of presents for them
Emma
Emma and her Dad both have cancer. Emma is currently undergoing treatment at Manchester Children’s Hospital and her one wish for Christmas is to have a safe place to sit in the fresh air. The family are struggling financially and we want to just give them a safe garden and a special Christmas.
- A Playstation and games for Luke and lots of toys for Lucy
Luke 6 and Lucy 2
Paul is a single parent who is bringing up two small children. Lucy has never had a mum around and Paul had to give up work to look after her. He is currently at college trying to gain some qualifications so that he can give his children the life they deserve
- Lots of lovely presents for Keira
4 weeks ago Keira and her mum suffered a terrible house fire and lost everything including all of Keira’s toys and her precious books. She saved her kitten Minnie from the fire and was very brave. She was nominated by her Auntie Sophie.
