About us

About us

Cash for Kids is the new name for Help A Local Child. We’ve joined up with 19 other radio station charities across the UK, under the ‘Cash for Kids’ banner, in a bid to increase our funding for local communities. In addition, Sir Tom Hunter has given his backing to the new group name and has pledged £4 million over the next ten years to underwrite 50% of the running costs for the charities including Rock FM's Cash for Kids. By having a nationally recognized name with UK wide reach and local impact we hope we can help even more local children.
