Robin Thicke’s pop anthem ‘Blurred Lines’ is the biggest selling song of 2013 so far.

The Pharrell and T.I. collaboration has sold 1.44million copies since its release in March and with less than a month to go before the year’s out, it looks as though it could hold on to its biggest seller title.

According to Official Charts Company figures, the closest rival to ‘Blurred Lines’ is Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ (also featuring Pharrell Williams), which has a tally of 1.28million sales in the UK.

Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up’ currently stands in third with 1.12million sales while Passenger’s ‘Let Her Go’ is the fourth song to break the million barrier this year.

With the Christmas no.1 race kicking off on Sunday, including the release of The X Factor winners’ single, the biggest sellers list could all change in the next few weeks.

Despite the upcoming threat of The X Factor, the top selling winners single of all time, James Arthur’s ‘Impossible’, only sold 1.3million copies so it’s highly unlikely to overtake Robin Thicke.
