With A Month To Go Until The Royal Wedding We've Got Your Top Wedding Tips

With just a month to go until the Royal Wedding, a Lancashire Wedding Planner has being giving us his top tips if you've got a month left until your big day.

Mark Norton-Noon, Director of Lancashire Wedding Planners has given us the check-list they give their bride and groom to be with a month to go:

Apply for a marriage license if you have not already done so.

Arrange a date for a wedding rehearsal, if required, or if you are having a Civil Ceremony, arrange a second meeting (or simply a phone call) with the person who will deliver the Service to finalise music, songs, readings and timings.

Bride: have your final gown fitting. Bring your maid of honour along to learn how to bustle your dress.

Have the dress pressed and bring it home.

Call all bridesmaids and make sure they have their gowns ready for the wedding.

Have your final trial of make-up and hair, checking the tiara/veil.

Buy each others’ wedding gifts.

Set out a timetable for the morning of your wedding.

Chase up any non-responses from guests.

Finalise the seating plan with the caterer.

Reconfirm the wedding arrangements with the reception venue.

Reconfirm the wedding arrangements with the caterer.

Reconfirm the wedding arrangements with the florist.

Reconfirm the wedding arrangements with the photographer and videographer.
 
Reconfirm the wedding arrangements with the company supplying the wedding transport.

Reconfirm all your entertainment. Reconfirm the honeymoon arrangements and get your foreign currency and traveller’s cheques.

Write the wedding speeches (groom, best man, father of the bride).

Have the hen and stag night.
