Rock Report - Stamp Out Hate Crime

Rock FM's campaigning to stamp out Hate Crime after the murder of Sophie Lancaster. Sophie was kicked to death two and a half years ago in a Lancashire park becuase she was a goth. Ever since her friends and family have been committed to stamping out hatred, prejudice and intolerance everywhere. (S.O.P.H.I.E). And we want to get the message across that no matter who you are and what you look like you should not have to become a victim of Hate Crime. You'll find lots of information here on different subcultures and the story of the Sophie campaign. But it doesn't stop there - we want to hear about your experiences and thoughts on Hate Crime too.

Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend Rob were attacked on August 11th 2007 because they dressed differently. Sophie died 10 days after the attack and ever since her friends and family have been campaigning to stamp out prejudice hatred and intolerance everywhere (S.O.P.H.I.E).
